Code

This website appears that it was written in a code editor and not in a CMS like WordPress. The code is clean, organized, and straightforward. One interesting thing I noticed about this website's code that was a little unusual was the number of link and meta elements in the head. It appears that some of this code is for social media icons and maybe content for SEO purposes.
User Interface - UI

The Veele website looks very nice. The text is easy to read throughout the website since the background is white on most of each page with dark colored text. Key words are in a different color that stands out on the white background. In some spots, the background is on a dark background and the text is a light color. All the colors compliment each other and the text passes the ADA contrast checker. The layout gives a clean and simple feeling due to the white background that covers most of each page.
User Experience - UX

The Veerle website has a fast load time with about 1 second per page. In addition to working well on a desktop, the Veerle website also works well on mobile devices. The text is a readable size and the user does not need to zoom in at all. There are also some hover effects on the website which make it fun for the user to move their mouse over if they're using a desktop. Each link that was clicked worked and successfully loaded a new page so that users have a smooth experience.
Summary
Overall, Veerle has a clean, simple layout and the website is easy to use for users. The website is easy to read, there's no noticable broken links, the site load time is very fast, and it's mobile friendly.
