5R Javascript Frameworks

Vue

Vue seems to be a very popular framework to use and it was listed on most of the websites I read about frameworks on. Vue prides itself on being progressive and for loading fast. The size of the framework is small which helps the performance. Vue also provides tutorials, examples, and a playground for users that would like to learn the framework. There is also an HTML-based template option that can be used in Vue for people that are more familiar with HTML which helps make the framework more user-friendly.

React

While reading about React, I noticed that React usually appeared as the first framework on each page as the recommended and most popular JavaScript framework. Like Vue, React also has several examples and tutorials to help users learn it. It also has a virtual DOM object which creates a virtual copy of the original DOM and represents the DOM object. This framework also claims to be easy to learn and is SEO friendly.

Mithril

Mithril is not as well known of a framework. I found it listed on website only, but it intrigued me. After exploring the Mithril website, it has similar learning tools with examples and tutorials, but what caught my eye was that it has a Babel JSX plugin that can have everything be HTML syntax, which I thought was kind of cool. However, Mithril definitely doesn't have as many features as Vue or React.

Summary

All the frameworks I read about sounded great and I look forward to trying one out someday! If I had to pick one to try out right now, I would probably try React since it does claim to be easy to learn and it's SEO friendly. If I were to struggle with it, I would then check out Vue since it has that nice HTML-based template option and it really is fast.
